Всем добрый день! Подскажите пожалуйста как распаралелить задачу состоящую из 15 000 000 ячеек на видеоускоритель K80 при расчете в Ansys Fluent 19.0? Есть вообще какая-то инструкция по настройке или доп. программа для распаралеливании на CUDA, нужны ли какие-то особые драйвера? Поддержка CUDA появилась еще с 15 версии, а как ее использовать нигде нет информации. Имею доступ на расспаралеливание 12 ядер . Так как Tesla К80 имеет 2 чипа то могу разбевать так: 10 ядер CPU и 2 ядра (2 чипа) GPU (если это верно). Помогите пожалуйста настроить эту "Чудо Teslu" очень надо быстро посчитать.
Параметры комьютера :
1. Матер. плата - SuperMicro Server SYS-7048GR-TR;
2. Процессор - Xeon E5 14x2,6GHz, 35MB, 135W 2 шт.;
3. ОЗУ - 256 ГБ RAM;
4. HDD - 4000GB 3.5" SATA 7200rpm Enterprise;
5. SSD - 480GB Supermicro Mixed Use Enterprise SSD;
6. NVIDIA Tesla K80 24GB GDDR5;
7. OC - Windows Server 2012 R2 x64.

А что будет если попытаться раскидать сетку с такими настройками параллельных вычислений?
Я уже перепробовал много комбинаций... При таких и других настройках он просто висит и не считает (не делает ни одной итерации). Но когда выключаю GPU то на процесорных ядрах расчет идет.

В Ansys Fluent User Guide расписаны особенности применения GPU. И там есть довольно много ограничений на применение. Посмотрите их относительно вашей задачи
Уважаемая техническая поддержка компании ANSYS, помогите пожалуйста распараллелить задачу на CUDA ядра. Компания продает продукт за $ 65 000, а нормальной пошаговой инструкции НЕТ!!!!!!! Вы с 15 версии заявили о поддержке CUDA, а как это реализовать нигде нет. Надеюсь на Ваше понимание и дальнейшее сотрудничество. Спасибо.

Во-первых, вопросы техподдержки решаются по каналам техподдержки. Если мы (ПЛМ Урал) являемся вашим поставщиком, и поддержка у вас оплачена - милости прошу на cae-support.ru. Форум у нас на общественных началах, здесь никто никому ничего не должен, и кидать тут обвинения в адрес техподдержки и, тем более, разработчика софта не нужно.
По существу.
1. Для распараллеливания на GPU модель должна влазить в память GPU. 15 млн ячеек не влезет в 24 Гб. В логе ясно написано: Thrust failure: bad allocation: out of memory.
2. Инструкция по подключению GPU не имеет смысла, т.к. пользователю в лаунчере доступен только счетчик задействуемых девайсов, и он работает очевидным образом. Если вы затребовали определенное количество GPU для расчета, Fluent определяет всё автоматом.
Добрый день! Спасибо за ответы. Я не в коем случае не кого не обвиняю! Я думал, что в тех поддержку можно и сюда писать. Данный вопрос задавался в тех поддержку нашего поставщика (Украина), но ответа внятного пока нет. Но при покупке нам сказали, что мы можем обращаться в любую тех поддержку.
Но все же, подскажите, пожалуйста, какое должна быть максимальное количество ячеек, имея TESLA k80 24 Гб? Какой набор драйверов нужно устанавливать на данную видеокарту? После загрузки задачи в программу нужно ли что-то в консоли прописывать? Заранее огромное спасибо...
